I do walk/bike whenever possible for short distances. But the car is necessary when having to go grocery shopping, picking up people, etc. cycling works if the activity is done by yourself in an environment that allows for bicycles. There are time/places where cycling is just not an option.
- VeejayRampay 11y agoI don't know about where you live (might be the USA where the distances are ridiculous and there's nothing in range for people living in the suburbs) but most of the time you can go for local shops that have the goods you're looking for, or go farther with a backpack, or get them delivered to you through a system using electric cars or bikes. I might be biased by my being European and living in my extremely dense Parisian metropolitan area though.
