Any details on what they are emitting to disable the drone?
- god_bless_texas 11y agoI don't know what these guys are using, but I searched and found an article I remembered from DIY Drones last year. http://madhacker.org/how-to-hijack-a-drone-by-telemetry-and-prevent-it/ http://madhacker.org/how-to-hijack-a-drone-by-telemetry-and-...
- headShrinker 11y agoMy guess is it's a 2.4Ghz narrow beam jammer. It would likely have little effect on say a 400Mhz receiver. Not to mention it is reliant on a predicable failsafe. What if the failsafe is 100% throttle. It would be pretty easy to make this device useless.
- rasz_pl 11y agonot disable, from description it sounds like they recognize protocol/model used, hijack uplink and tell it to land. Trivial to bypass even by a novice with arduino.
