Nonsense.
1. Mother's milk is vegetarian, most nursing infants eat nothing else.
2. Jains have been practicing a very strict form of vegetarianism for thousands of years.

Since from a health standpoint the ideal diet for a human is vegetarian, but not 100% vegan, I always try to be careful.
