Don't forget immigration. It's a lot easier to get a student visa than a working one, and a lot easier to get a working one with higher degrees.

Don't forget immigration. It's a lot easier to get a student visa than a working one, and a lot easier to get a working one with higher degrees.
- hocuspocus 11y agoEspecially given the current H1B situation. It looks like almost anyone with a PhD and a good immigration lawyer can get an O1, even if they're being hired as an entry-level developer or another position that clearly doesn't require extraordinary skills.
