Doesn't this just move trust from your ISP to whomever runs the VPN?
- mikeokner 11y agoYes, but if you live somewhere that definitely surveils your communications or prevents you from accessing certain content, a VPN is a good way to browse as though you were physically located somewhere more permissive.
