They should instead have integrated a CPU into their graphics card like AMD do with those APUs, which they sell to every consoler maker, and NVIDIA do with their Tegras, for high spec smartphones.
- Retric 11y agoThis can really help CPU-RAM latency which often slows things to a crall. However, modern Intel CPU's have rediculus amounts of cache.
- touristtam 11y agoI think Intel was hoping to be able to license (virtually for free) Nvidia technology at some point, during the legal battle they had with Nvidia.
