What's needed is a competitor to Prime thats federated.
I would love a one click payment processor that had my cc and shipping info that was low fee, and available on independent web sites.
The small amount of friction of putting in shipping address/cc makes me look to Amazon first.
- incongruity 10y agoThe other big draw to Amazon, for me, is the reviews. I know it's not perfect, but by and large, items with 4 or 5 star reviews tend to be good. Going outside Amazon leaves me without that, most of the time. Add that to your federated system and I'm sold.
