How can visas possibly be granted to employers who employ over half of their workforce on H1Bs? How does a provision not already exist to combat this?
- ones_and_zeros 10y agocombat? The government has sanctioned it. In fact, you can avoid the H1B dependent employer status if you hire those with masters degrees from US institutions. Why do you think a guy that is so embedded in the globalization machine that is also the dean of a US university shilling so obviously for these programs? The industry has designed this system, with the help of the government and education institutions, purely for their own benefit and because the current US politics is based on the fallacy that good for business == good for Americans they get what they want.
