Agreed. As someone who owns san francisco/sv companies via my s&p 500 fund, I'm disappointed that their boards aren't considering their fiduciary duty to contain real estate and salary costs. After all, what percentage of the highly paid tech workers come from elsewhere in the US? Is there really a justification for them to all be present physically in san francisco other than to swell the egos of their bosses?
