- greenyoda 10y agoAn interesting part of this article is the mention of Lucera, a startup company that handles interconnections between companies inside the NY4 data center: "A startup called Lucera is one of them. The company operates something like a telecom within the data center by using software to interconnect the banks, exchanges, and investment firms that have servers at NY4." Note that Lucera is not a typical VC-backed startup: "Lucera is a privately held, New York based firm launched with initial backing from Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading global financial services firm and active Lucera customer."[1] The three founders/officers of Lucera are all former Cantor Fitzgerald employees.[1] [1] https://www.lucera.com/about.html https://www.lucera.com/about.html
