Oh, is that what was meant to be happening? I was reading on mobile and the page just kept randomly scrolling, and when I came back to it after 8 hours a bunch of boxes had spilled semi transparent shadows over the text. It's funny how 20 years of improving tech have led us to a situation where we now just have to ignore huge layout issues and people shouting incredibly unpleasant things
- yomly 11y agoGlad someone else took issue with this. We're in a constant race to improve battery life and processing power so we can waste energy on these pointless "innovations". I'm all for improving UX, but I constantly wonder how much longer our batteries would last if they weren't being drained by gratuitous features like this one...
