One thing people forget is that major goods cost the same all over the world. Cars in India cost almost as much as cars in the US, decent models cost more. Electronics in Brazil cost more than what they do in the US. So you just can't pay people such low wages.
- ChrisDutrow 11y agoWe recently had to equip someone in Argentina with a Macbook Pro. It cost literally double what it would cost here and it didn't matter if he bought it there or we bought it here and shipped it to him. (we opted for the latter and they hit us with import fees)
