SV has ~3% unemployment rate, continuing increase in house prices, billions of dollars in VC funding, ever expanding job market etc. I just sold my home last month in a span of one weekend. I had 400 people show up for the open house and received 15 bids. The highest one was 50K over asking, with 50% down.
