Speaking of short urls, am I the only one that refuses to click on them? I hate that I can't see where the link is going to take me.
- ymse 10y agoI sometimes "curl -I" first to check what it redirects to before clicking. Would love a mobile app that registered as the default app for various URL shorteners and did the same.

- soared 10y agoI've never heard this before. What would be an example of somewhere you don't want to go? I've never clicked a shortened URL and had unexpected results.
- ryanswapp 10y agoMost of the time it happens on Twitter. Someone will tweet a bitly link with some enticing headline but I refuse to click it because I don't know where the link is taking me. Perhaps I'm just overly cautious...
