i think the interesting thing about the oceanographers is that they say that if you are in the water, that means you're not in a bubble, it's only the air and some other gases that might be in a bubble. the question is how much have you interacted with what's normal in America based on population numbers, not how much you've interacted with diverse groups. also note their target audience. it's a pbs website. it's so far deep inside the bubble it probably couldn't get out if it worked on a factory floor for a year
