Version 1.0 seems to no longer support syntax highlighting for C# files. Why would they do this? Or am I the only one seeing this?

  They moved the C# support into an extension in the previous version, you just need to install. https://code.visualstudio.com/Docs/languages/csharp https://code.visualstudio.com/Docs/languages/csharp
