Not a Unix admin .. but can you swap the rm command with a different executable that prompts you when the -rf option is specified?
- wutbrodo 11y agoYou can just alias rm to a script of yours that does just that with like, one extra line of bash. I've done this for a couple of commands where I prefer default behavior that isn't specifiable by flags.
