I'm going to second what possibility said. Bipolar depression is a very different animal from standard clinical depression. Mania is ugly, it turns someone you know into someone you don't.
- PaulHoule 11y agoUntil recently we were living with a maniac who didn't need SSRIs to go manic. It is astonishing how ugly it gets, I've still got a broken mirror on the floor in the other room that we haven't cleaned up yet.
