The only thing that have held me back from upgrading to a Paperwhite is that the background LED is always on.
I hope this allows you to turn it off, but like the information about the Paperwhite, it is probably going to be buried in the forums.
- mgberlin 11y agoYou're not the first person I've heard to complain about this, but is it really an issue? When it's on the lowest setting you're hard pressed to see the glow in even the darkest of rooms, and the battery life is still amazing.
- bitL 11y agoI have Voyage with the lights turned off. Maybe it's just Paperwhite issue?
