Apple pulls third-party Reddit clients for NSFW content
- ChuckMcM 11y agoSounds like they should pull Safari too :-). It is seriously challenging for any App that depends on user generated content to stay within that particular rule if they user is out seeking cheap thrills.
- drivebyops 11y agoThey should remove the official reddit app then
- wmccullough 11y agoI see an obvious thing here that no one has mentioned. Reddit just released their official app last week. I wonder if they worked with Apple to take down unofficial versions. NSFW is a pretty bogus reasons to pull down an app.

This is a feature we previously refined with Apple's help. We were surprised by the notice. We just resubmitted our build. We were not informed that Apple would be removing other apps. We were very upset to see that they did. Honestly, if we were interested in getting rid of 3rd party apps (which we're not!!!), this would be the stupidest possible way to accomplish it. We suggest all 3rd party apps similarly remove settings for safe for work browsing.
