Anyway a universe simulation doesn't sound any more stupid (to me) than any other reason for the universe being here.
- coliveira 11y agoJust like creationism, simulation is not an explanation for anything. If we are a simulation, there must be something that performs the simulation. What is that? A simulation too? In the end, there must be something "real" that is not simulated. Why that cannot be our own universe?
- satysin 11y agoOf course it can be our universe. It is turtles all the way down as she once said. Of course we could just be on one of the turtles in the middle.
