Idea that people make logical choices when it comes to dating is nonsense. Most people when looking for a long-term relationship are more set on being in control than finding the right person. Beyond that, most people end up in a relationship not by choice, but out of habit. Ran into a guy joining Tinder the other day, he said they were saying the valuation for the company was a billion... :-)
