To be honest, chat.center looks a lot like the iMessage interface, or the legacy facebook.com/messages interface… or, well, any messaging client. There's nothing remarkably unique about having that layout, or using blue and white as a color scheme (again, iMessage does the same!). Nor is there anything unique or creative about having a URL with your username in it, that redirects to your page/chat. Who knows, Facebook may have copied ChatCenter, but the evidence seems circumstantial at best. This seems just like a plug for the author's product, the URL of which is mentioned 16 times (!) in the article.
