Do you have statistical evidence to support your claim regarding serial discontentment?

  No. I don't know why anyone would even attempt such an experiment. These are very subjective topics and it would be hard to even pose a testable hypothesis. My claim is based strictly on life experience. All I am saying is that people who take on one job after another and remain unhappy would benefit from some serious introspection. In other words, as important as it is to evaluate potential employers, it is just as important to carefully examine one's expectations and career intent.
