How much work is it to try this, starting from a normal Windows 10 install?
- philjohn 11y agoA fair bit. You need to become a windows insider, if you aren't one already, opt in to insider builds (which can take a couple of days) and then install the insider preview. Not worth it if you're just wanting to try it out, but if you want to test it and feed back, then knock yourself out!
- nikbackm 11y agoYes, easier to just wait some time until the "Windows 10 Anniversary Update" goes public for everyone. Will surely be installed automatically like the November Update.
- TheLogothete 11y agoThe Anniversary Update will be an automatic probably, yes (don't see this as a bad thing), but I am a bit skeptical that this feature will be included in the general update. Probably opt-in/separate download. It's a developer feature, after all.
- drewstiff 11y agoI have it on good authority that W10 Anniversary Update will go live for the general public before the end of July if all goes to plan. I think you will still then have to enable dev mode and install it as a feature as per the OP link.
