- jamiepenney 11y agoNot to be that guy, but I've become a lot more comfortable with not knowing what the hell I am doing since I had a kid. Most people are winging it, you just don't get to see their failures.
- taneq 11y agoAs a counterpoint, I've become far more worried about life in general since I realised that medical and legal professionals are just winging it too.
- agumonkey 11y agoShould we keep the whole education lie about choosing a career early on ? [1] or admit that things are the way they are and make people have a broader intellectual view about things so that they can jump whenever the times require it ? [1] I understand the value of picking one thing and going deep. Versus breadth / jack of all trade say.
- BinaryIdiot 11y agoYup! This was the best advice I had ever gotten. There were times I felt like an idiot for not understanding something but at a certain point understanding that no one knows what they're doing is just powerful.
