I can recommend Evernote, it's great for notetaking. I'd also like to correct some inaccuracies in the article, for people who don't know the software: - if there isn't a network connection, that isn't a fail. You can use native client in offline mode, and the data will be synced next time you will be online. - the notes does automatically open in editing mode. (at least in version 3.1 I use).
