- nalllar 11y agoTitle should be changed to "ES File Explorer: possible malware (dianxin folder)"
- basicplus2 11y agoI don't appear to have access to edit heading now
- e40 11y agoI uninstalled ES File Explorer about a month or two ago because each update was so much worse than the last and it seemed to get very spammy. I don't remember exactly, but I think I got a popup ad screen the last time I used it. OI File Manager seems just fine.
- stegosaurus 11y agoSame. ES and QuickPic tipped me over the edge into just uninstalling everything and using my phone as a phone. Two very good programs that gradually became malware, pushing cloud options onto me, pushing arbitrary notifications when I installed other apps, etcetera. I now have a very basic CM install with a few OSS F-Droid applications. The phone is used predominantly as a phone and for anything else I go and use a computer with a much better ecosystem.
