Doesn't the second part cast doubt on the first part?
- erkkie 11y agoOnly if you fundamentally believe there's something "magical" going on in the brain; scientifically there's no reason to believe that (given current understanding). We understand individual neurons and how they can lead to computation, we also understand (the existence of) emergent behavior in general.
