Restocks (YC W16) is hiring a full stack engineer

Restocks is a Y Combinator funded startup that is backed by some of the most prominent names in tech. We’re currently looking for smart and passionate engineers to join our growing team as we redefine the way consumers shop. To make this happen, we have a backend built on top of Postgres, Node, and RethinkDB. We’re excited to talk to you if you love Node, Go, geek out over deployment strategies, and understand the unique challenges that crawling 50,000 products in real time can pose. On the client side of things, we’re using web technologies like Angular and are working on porting our app to more modern (and native!) technologies. Working on Restocks presents a new opportunity to build a new way to shop. We’re looking for ambitious engineers that want to build a rock solid tool for the most passionate consumers to purchase goods and build a new marketplace and community on top of it. As a first hire, you’ll have opportunities to build new parts of our tech stack with freedom. We’ll respect the tools you want to use if you can justify it -- from Go to Rust to Erlang, you’re going to make decisions on the most crucial parts of our infrastructure that haven't been written yet.
