Perhaps ironically, reading this gave me a sense of hope. Not in that what we are doing is right, but rather that there are thoughtful, insightful people like yourself involved. I have some sense of optimism now that perhaps someone like yourself is able to not only enter the Marines and remain attentive to the larger picture, but perhaps some have bubbled or will bubble to the top ranks and make good decisions. Sometimes even good decisions can look bad under the current circumstances, but time bears them out. Thank you.
