It's kind of obvious that no one can live if we only have services and money printing. Someone must produce something (and preferably something with a high price / cost ratio), this applies to manufacturing as well as agriculture. The biggest news (and very sad at that) is that "making things" is so far away from the mainstream economic models that formerly common sense rules are worth a headline.
