If my employer let me come in @10am I would be 2x as productive. I have to drag myself out of bed every morning and spend 9am-10am not really doing much at work anyway. If I could get that extra hour of sleep it would be amazing...
- rayvd 11y agoFor every one of you there are probably 10x others who would totally abuse it.
- psb217 11y agoUh, if the expectation when one arrives ~1hr late is that they will also stay ~1hr late, what is there to abuse?
- humbleMouse 11y agoYeah, unfortunately my company has "core hours" that start @9am so I am expected to be around starting @9am.
- mrbgty 11y agoDo you think those people abusing it are getting less work done than they otherwise would?
- golergka 11y agoHow? What's the possible "abuse" of working at different hours?
- goldbrick 11y agoHow does this work, in your mind? Every stupid, indefensible policy I've ever heard of has been justified with this lame excuse. If somebody "abuses" something, take disciplinary action, how is that so damn hard?
- AznHisoka 11y agoDo you use electronics/computer in late evenings (11 PM)?
