- bjz_ 11y agoDo note that the sea ice extent has little to do with what the ice sheets are doing. From what I last heard (my information might be out of date), the slight increase in sea ice extent in the south pole could be due to changes in winds or ocean currents in the southern ocean.
- danielvf 11y agoNote that you will need to select "Southern Hemisphere" at this link in order to see the Antarctic ice measurements. By default you are seeing something else.
