It's true, I wish they had shown us a zero-knowledge proof (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-knowledge_proof https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-knowledge_proof) that they had cracked it. At least then we would know that this isn't just to escape an unfavorable court ruling.
