For one, that doesn't match up with current media [you don't generally pay for better camera angles, you just pay to see the game]. For two, it's most likely going to be somewhat expensive [in space and technology] to set up a VR recording rig [see g.co/jump for a baseline]. Finally, media always capitalizes on advertising. "Sitting" in the front row seats doesn't mean you won't have ads during breaks, and they'll be even more convincing/all-consuming in VR land. [as a post from a16z says, in VR, your default state is belief.]
