I am similar to reacweb. I dual-booted from 2008 through about 2011, then switched to using Linux as my only bootable OS and Windows in a VM occasionally. I've noticed since about 2013 that I booted into the VM less and less often. The most recent was after maybe 9 months without using Windows? I wanted to check how something related to batch files worked, purely for curiosity (i.e., unrelated to professional work). There being so many updates queued up that I almost said "screw it" to the whole thing, reasoning that I could ask a friend to check easier/faster than the wait was worth.
