Monitoring without alerting is kinda useless. How can I aggregate multiple servers ?

  You use zabbix :-) Nice open source solution (everything open source, not "open core") with possibility to pay a reasonable (my words) amount for support. Source: Use it at work, unsupported (because we are small and it just works without support at our current scale). Otherwise unaffiliated.

  Monitoring without alerting is not useless. It's just instrumentation.

  Not at all - historical data can be extremely useful.
