Would this keep kik in the registry instead of forcing the dev to give it up?
- levemi 11y agonpm has already says that they acted right in removing kik and that they would keep old versions of kik around as they were. So the dev would be forced to give it up and old versions would remain in npm.
- zem 11y agothe security placeholder package should fix that issue, shouldn't it? i was pretty shocked that they didn't do that in the initial instance - tell whoever owned 'kik' that they had to remove it due to a trademark claim, but then blocked the name and told kik-the-company that it wasn't available to be used as an npm package name.
