- daodedickinson 11y agoJapan's government estimates there are 500,000 adult hikkikomori in the country who have not left their homes in the last 6 months. Far more people who meet more lax definitions of hikkikomori. I see the Kakuhido (translates roughly as the Revolutionary Alliance of Men that Women Find Unattractive) as a group possibly similar to Christians circa 40. Once it becomes the Revolutionary Alliance of People Governments Find Unattractive the recruitment opportunities are pretty obvious, right?
