I don't think the downvotes are trying to mask real discussion. OP does not create real discussion, just a paranoia without arguments: "this is caused by X", being X the left (in this case), but it could have been the right, the media or whatever and I think it would have been downvoted equally. And, by the way, I don't think calling the police when seeing these kind of fliers is an overreaction. Yes, it's just a piece of paper, but the people who print those pieces of paper tend to be, let's say, very non-friendly if you are a minority (black, homosexual,...), sometimes getting to the point of beating them.
