- bwat48 11y agoFrom what I've seen Opera seems pretty confident that they will remain an independent company operating out of Norway (and therefore subject to Norwegian privacy laws which are pretty strict). I probably wouldn't be too worried unless they move the actual development of the browser from Norway to China
