  For some values of "invent". They took an existing industrial dust separation technique, used it in a vacuum cleaner, and patented it - and their newer inventions have been even more questionable. For example, they're claiming to have "pioneered digital motors", which are apparently what the rest of us know as brushless DC motors - which, needless to say, they didn't invent and which have been replacing other motors in many applications due to the availability of cheaper high-power MOSFETs, something they also had nothing to do with.
