Actually I am very happy Safari Mobile does not support autoplay. I have disabled it on my desktop Firefox as well. In a perfect world, it would be a valuable feature. In a world governed by the attention economy, it invites abuse. If I wanted to have websites come on all blaring sound at full volume and distract me with video playing, I'd buy an $50 Android tablet.
