I found it insightful, since I haven't really thought of these sorts of situations from management's perspective before. This line in particular helped me understand: "And, it’s not exactly that you think he’s trying to scam you, but… you just wish you had more information and weren’t being blindsided." Maybe this stuff is obvious and I just lack empathy, I dunno.
