I don't know about the back end, but the output of Tay didn't seem any better to me than any chat bot in the last 20 years. I can't believe Microsoft was silly

I don't know about the back end, but the output of Tay didn't seem any better to me than any chat bot in the last 20 years. I can't believe Microsoft was silly enough to make a big deal out of it and call it AI.

Yeah, I think there's no reason to create a chatbot with no pre-learned Cyc-like knowledge base in these days.
