How to abuse NPM

The NPM model is powerful, but composing with dozens of tiny modules is bad practice plain and simple. The breaking this week proves it. The risk outweighs rolling your own padding function. People like to pretend that because of automated tests and CI these risks don't exist. They are dependencies regardless. You incur some risk when you import. Use NPM wisely please.
