- Will you need to put your phone in airplane mode to prevent a call or text from ruining your print?
- Your phone is unusable for the likely 2 - 12 hours it takes to print
- In the video they show what is apparently light sensitive resin in clear plastic bottles
- goda90 11y agoThis seems like a great use case for an old smartphone that still works.
- elbigbad 11y agoOr $20 unactivated smart phones from Best Buy. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/motorola-motorola-moto-g-3rd-gen--4g-with-8gb-memory-cell-phone-unlocked-black/4533692.p http://www.bestbuy.com/site/motorola-motorola-moto-g-3rd-gen...
- 01Michael10 11y agoI guess thanks for the listing of a phone that is unavailable and doesn't exist at that price? Here is the full list of all the Moto G phones at Best Buy--> http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=Moto+G&_dyncharset=UTF-8&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=&sp=&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=Moto+G&_dyncha... Prices start at $99 and the model you linked to is really $179.
- elbigbad 11y agoIt was just an illustration, I wasn't meaning for you to go buy it. I don't know enough about phone prices to be able to say whether that's a normal price or not. I used it as an illustration because I have picked up plenty of smart phones on sale at Best Buy. Most recently the Moto E for about $20 on sale.

- grimmdude 11y agoSeems like there should be an option to use any light source. Why is it specific to a phone?
- bunnymancer 11y agoBecause the phones screen is what shapes the print..
- Someone1234 11y agoAre we sure it is sensitive to ALL forms of light? If the plastic bottle reflects UV, and the material is UV sensitive it could make rational sense. Although I'll grant I am pulling theories out of thin air. I have no idea if this product is even real let alone how the material/bottle works.
- TD-Linux 11y agoExcept that then your smartphone screen would need to emit UV light, which it doesn't.
