I particularly hate it when package mainteners don't get semver http://semver.org/ http://semver.org/ and a minor change introduces a breaking change. We've had it a couple of times where builds fail, only to find a breaking change introduced into a minor or patch version. I know it feels like a big thing releasing a major version, but it's a good thing. Hell even node is at version 5.9, probably 5.10 by the time I check back later today. ;)
