For what it's worth, I've noticed the same where I live. This spring/summer is shaping up to be the hottest in my living memory, which is backed by several reports and predictions from meteorological organisations. Incidentally the previous winter gave this place the heaviest rainfall in over a century. Seems like the extremes are worsening.
